Join Nevine Michaan IN PERSON at The Studio to explore her 2023 Katonah Yoga Magic Calendar, The Collective, Tessellating: The Fractal Nature of Patterns.

Tessellating the pattern of the stitch allows one to build the neurology into the fabric. Magic squaring of hands, feet, mind, eye or any part of you, eventually allows the whole pattern to become a piece of the whole body. Just as tessellating a hexagon builds a beehive, tessellating an enneagon makes you thrice blessed: prescient, reflective, present, stable, able, imaginative, and oriented at the center of one’s circumference.

Calendars are magical in intent and possibilities. They allow us to plan ahead, reflect back, and embody our visions. To be well-oriented and well-organized is powerful. The Katonah calendar and meditations position the individual in the moment of personal and cosmic time and space. Potential, the future, is positioned in front of you, memories behind, being reflective. Time is always traveling within and around you.
